Sunday - October 16, 2016 – 4  pm       Monmouth Winds

Our season opener!  Join us at Music at Saint Mary’s for the beginning of our 16th concert season. 
This concert event features one of the finest chamber music ensembles in New Jersey – the Monmouth Winds. 
All members of this woodwind quintet are performers with the Monmouth Symphony Orchestra.  Hailed by critics
far and wide, the Monmouth Winds are a Central NJ tour-de-force.  Don’t miss this delightful concert.    


Sunday - November 20, 2016 – 4  pm       A Festival of Organists

Organ virtuosi Brenda A. Day, James Little, Anthony Nardino, and Christopher Deibert return to Saint Mary’s to play the church’s historic 1883 Jardine and Sons Pipe Organ.  Hailing from Middlesex County, these fine musicians represent some of the very best performers in the state.  Don’t miss this opportunity to hear some of New Jersey’s finest musicians perform on one of New Jersey’s greatest pipe organs.  A Meet-the-Artist reception will follow the concert.


Saturday - December 17, 2016 - 7:30  pm       Handel’s Messiah

Saint Mary Chamber Orchestra & Chorus

“It’s just not Christmas for me without hearing Handel’s Messiah.”  “This is my 12th year in a row attending Messiah, and I’ll never miss it!”  Come join the rest of the South Amboy/Sayreville community for the Saint Mary Chamber Orchestra and Choral Society’s presentation of George Frederik Handel’s timeless oratorio.  Under the direction of Maestro Christopher M. C. Deibert, conductor, the Advent/Christmas portion of this work will be performed in its entirety, along with excerpts from the second and third parts.  Don’t miss this delightful candlelit concert, set in beautiful Victorian-gothic architectural surroundings..


Sunday - January 15, 2017 - 4  pm       Choral Art Society

A Music at Saint Mary’s first!  Choral Art Society of New Jersey originated as The Suburban Symphony
Chorus in September of 1962, and 1964 the chorus formed an independent organization under its present name, growing in membership, and earning the accolades of the public and critics since its beginning. 
The chorus is a group of singers dedicated to the study and performance of the great choral masterpieces which span many centuries and styles.  The group’s diverse performances have included Orff’s Carmina
Burana, Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb, Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess, Handel’s Solomon, and most recently,
one of the first U.S performances of Bob Chilcott’s Requiem.  Don’t miss South Amboy’s first opportunity
to experience this marvelous chorus here in our hometown.


Saturday - March 13, 2017 - 7  pm       Sergey Pospelov & Margarita Pospelova

Music at Saint Mary’s welcomes violinist Sergey Pospelov and pianist Margarita Pospelova – another MASM first! Sergey Pospelov is a critically acclaimed Russian violinist who made his solo orchestral debut at the age of 11. 
As a young prodigy, he was acclaimed by critics as having “Intense Musical Imagination” and “Impeccable Technique”.  Pospelov is an active recitalist who has performed in Russia, Belarus, Poland, France, China, Israel, the Czech Republic, Romania, Italy, and Japan.  His current concert tour, including his performance here at Saint Mary’s marks his United States debut. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a world-class recital with Sergey! 

A wine and cheese reception will follow the concert. 


Sunday - May 21, 2017 - 4  pm – Ninth Annual   Mozart Festival   Benefit Concert

The Saint Mary Chamber Orchestra

MASM is pleased to present its final concert of the season - The Saint Mary Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Christopher M. C. Deibert.  The SMCO will perform Mozart’s Symphony #35 (Haffner) in D Major and Symphony #36 (Linz) in C Major.  Come and help us toast the middle of springtime with this unparalleled music.  A celebratory wine and cheese reception will follow the concert.  A portion of the proceeds from this performance will benefit the MOC-USA, a 501 (c) 3 public charity whose mission is to serve the poor and needy, and to support breast cancer research.
